Our data

 

Tracking Parkinson's is a prospective study of recent- and young-onset Parkinson’s disease and selected siblings. 

 

Our research objectives relate to variability in the clinical phenotype of Parkinson’s, which we anaylse in relation to genetics and potential biomarkers.

 

There is a specific focus on motor, non-motor and cognitifive features, and to  response to drug therapy.

Metadata

We collect anthropometric, behavioural, cognitive, demographic, neurological and pharmacological data.

 

Participants provide psychological and physiological functional ratings as well as blood and DNA samples.

 

Tracking Parkinson's consists of 3 cohorts:

 

  1. Recent onset (diagnosed <3 years)
  2. Early onset (diagnosed before age 50)
  3. Relatives (without Parkinson's)

Using our data

There is a simple application to gain access to Tracking Parkinson's data and biosamples.
